Brunettes, fifteen names and every shade of brown

The lighter end

Bianka and Laura both wear light brown lifted by last summer, one curvy at 165 cm in Islington and one athletic at 169 cm where the lines cross at Finsbury Park. Vanessa is sandy brown and lightened through, 173 cm and slim, up in the village at Hampstead.

Rosa, Jasmin and Liana are chestnut, the first of them curly and the other two straight, and between them they cover N4, NW3 and the platforms at N1C.

The darker end

Stacy is near black brown at 176 cm, the tallest brunette on the list. Tina is espresso at 158 cm and the shortest woman on this site. Tiffany is chocolate brown and quietly spoken. Lucy has dark curls she gave up fighting years ago.

Margo, Michelle, Molly, Samanta and Sonya all wear dark brown, worn straight in most cases and wavy in Molly's, and they run from twenty four to thirty two years old.

Reading fifteen down to three

Start with the district rather than the shade. Four of them work the three termini, three more take Upper Street and the lanes at the bottom of it, and the rest are spread from NW3 across to N4. Fifteen names, four kinds of evening

For a train, Liana meets arrivals at Kings Cross and walks you five minutes north to the concert halls on the canal, Samanta prefers the towpath by the bookbarge to the concourse, Sonya takes the hotels around the terminus at St Pancras, and Stacy eats on the street of small kitchens behind Euston. For a stage, Bianka has the Almeida, Tina the concerts in the pews of the Union Chapel, Michelle the late sets on Parkway and Tiffany the folk hall off Regent's Park Road.

For a long table, Lucy books it herself at the top of Highgate Road, Rosa will tell you where to eat on Green Lanes before she tells you anything else, and Molly takes the small restaurants in the lanes off Camden Passage. For something slower, Jasmin and Vanessa keep to the old houses of Hampstead and Margo to the gardens at Regent's Park. And Laura is the name to ask for when the evening is tonight, because the Victoria and Piccadilly lines share a platform where she works.

Raven haired is the next shade along and holds six. Auburn and red has three, one of whom is an auburn brown that could fairly have been counted here instead. By build, six of these fifteen appear under petite and six more under slim and slender, and everybody carries the same rates ladder whichever grouping she turns up in.
