Statuesque, nine women at 172 cm and above
Nine women on this list stand 172 cm or more and one of them reaches 178 cm, which in heels puts her taller than most rooms she walks into. She chooses them anyway, knowing the pavements on Upper Street are Georgian and uneven, and she is not the only one here who has made that decision deliberately.
Height is the fact on a profile that people notice first and refer to least afterwards. What it actually changes is small: how a coat hangs, which shoes get worn on a hill, whether the back of a small room is still a good view. It changes nothing whatever about who is good company at midnight.

Violetta is 178 cm, tall and slender, and speaks sparingly and well. Stacy is 176 cm and slim, twenty two, dry and economical. Milena is 175 cm and curvy and dresses in shapes rather than patterns. Karolina and Samanta both stand 174 cm and both are slim, one up in Highgate and one down at the platforms.
Michelle and Vanessa are both 173 cm, one curvy on the canal side of Camden Town and one slim in the village at Hampstead. Angelika and Patricia are both 172 cm, the first athletic and the second slim.
Tall in a small room
Several of these nine work rooms where that matters. Michelle prefers the balcony side of a late set on Parkway and does not talk over the music. Choosing among them
Stacy and Samanta are the two for a train: Stacy on Drummond Street behind Euston, where a vegetarian kitchen with formica tables has been serving thalis since the nineteen seventies, and Samanta on the towpath below Granary Square, where the bookbarge keeps a stove going. Karolina and Patricia are the hill, and both treat three hours as the least an evening up there deserves. Vanessa starts at the Freud Museum on Maresfield Gardens and walks uphill to dinner in the village. Angelika and Michelle are the late option in NW1, one at the Roundhouse and one at the Jazz Cafe on Parkway. Milena and Violetta are both at their best across a long dinner, one after an hour of paintings and the other after a film.
Ages and eyes
Seven of the nine are twenty seven or under, and only Patricia at twenty eight and Violetta at thirty are older; Stacy, at twenty two, is the youngest of them. Vanessa is the only one whose eyes are not brown. Hers are hazel, reading grey in one room and green in the next.
How the nine divide by build
Six of them appear under slim and slender, two under curvaceous and one under toned and athletic, so height and build here are genuinely independent of one another. The opposite grouping is petite, which holds seven. Whichever door you came in by, the list is arranged by district and the rates ladder is the same for everybody on it.
