Slim and slender, ten long lines and quiet colours
Ten profiles on this list use the word slim or slender, and those ten are the women gathered here. They run from 163 cm to 178 cm and from twenty two to thirty one, and six of them are also tall enough to appear on the statuesque page, which tells you something about how this roster happens to have fallen rather than about anything anybody planned.
The word means long lines and quiet colours a good deal more often than it means anything about a number. Several of these women dress deliberately in shapes rather than in patterns, in clothes that do very little in a photograph and a great deal across a table. That is a preference and not a rule, and the profiles are where it shows.

The ten
Violetta at 178 cm and Stacy at 176 cm are the two tallest on this site. Karolina and Samanta are both 174 cm, Vanessa is 173 cm and Patricia 172 cm.
Cindy is 168 cm with blue eyes, Liana 167 cm and measured, Margo 166 cm and the most self possessed woman on the list, and Lucy 163 cm with dark curls and a serious talent for a long menu.
Where they work
Two of them are up the hill in Highgate, where the village keeps no station and the climb has to be made either way. Two more work the platforms at Kings Cross, and one takes the gardens out at Regent's Park. The rest are spread from EC1V at the bottom of Upper Street up to the village at Hampstead, which means this grouping covers most of the map without anybody having been placed there on purpose.
What each of them does with an evening
Cindy takes dance at Sadler's Wells and a quiet table after it. Karolina and Patricia divide the hill in N6 between them, one on the terrace at Lauderdale House and one in the courtyard of the Flask. Liana meets trains and then walks you five minutes north to the two concert halls at Kings Place on the canal. Samanta starts on the towpath at the bookbarge below Granary Square, and Stacy eats on Drummond Street behind Euston, somewhere unfashionable, inexpensive and very good.
Lucy books the table herself at the top of Highgate Road and questions the menu closely before ordering what she always meant to. Vanessa begins at the Freud Museum on Maresfield Gardens and walks uphill to dinner in the village. Margo has the Open Air Theatre in the season, and Violetta the sofas at the back of the old cinema on Upper Street.
Colouring and age
Seven of the ten are dark haired, from chestnut through near black brown to black. The other three are Cindy's long wavy blonde, Patricia's auburn brown and Vanessa's sandy brown, lightened through the lengths. Cindy is the only one with blue eyes and Vanessa the only one with hazel; the other eight are brown eyed. Ages run from Stacy at twenty two to Margo at thirty one, and the word on each profile is the one she chose for herself.
