Twenty two

Jasmin is 160 cm and petite, soft spoken, with an old fashioned dress sense that suits Hampstead exactly. Luna is 171 cm and curvy, dark auburn red, energetic and curious, and fills the gap between a meeting and a train on the Euston Road. Stacy is 176 cm and slim, near black brown haired, dry and economical, and is the tallest of the ten by some margin.

Twenty three

Bianka is 165 cm and curvy, hazel eyed, and takes the theatre end of Upper Street in Islington before a late table. Lea is 161 cm and petite with wavy auburn hair, up on the ridge where there has never been an Underground station. Roxi is 168 cm and curvy with long black hair, dry and economical, on the same hill.

Twenty four

Angelika is 172 cm and athletic, black haired, and knows Camden in the hour after the market shutters come down. Lucy is 163 cm and slender with dark curls and a serious interest in a menu. Molly is 164 cm and curvy, talkative and warm. Tiffany is 169 cm, chocolate brown haired, quietly spoken and petite of build.

By evening rather than by year

For a stage, Bianka at the Almeida or Tiffany at the folk hall off Regent's Park Road, where the dancing is open to anybody who turns up. For a screen, Roxi at the art deco cinema on the Broadway. For food, Stacy on Drummond Street or Lucy, who books the table herself and knows which rooms are quiet at nine. For somewhere to walk, Lea at the top of Alexandra Palace or Jasmin through an old house and its garden in Hampstead before the light goes.

Luna is made for the gap between two trains at Euston. Molly is the easiest company here for anybody who finds the first twenty minutes of an evening awkward, and Angelika is the one for a show at the Roundhouse followed by the towpath back, weather permitting.

Nearest and furthest

Stacy and Luna, both at Euston, are the simplest of the ten to reach at short notice. Lea and Roxi, both on the ridge at Muswell Hill where there is no Underground, want the most, and both would rather the evening was long enough to justify the journey.

The other two bands

Late twenties is much the deepest part of the list at fourteen, and thirties and beyond holds four. Age tells you less here than the postcode does and rather less than the profile does. The whole list is arranged by district, and every woman on it carries the same rates ladder whatever her age.
